I also put making a difference as one of my philosophies on teaching, and I'm sure many others feel that way as well. Wanting to make a difference is a very necessary component in being a teacher. I also thought it was interesting how you said teaching students and as well as learning from them. I think that is a great way to look at teaching because both sides can learn so much from each other.
Kelsey, your philosophy ideas are great! Being passionate is something I didn't mention in my list, but is KEY in being a successful, accomplished teacher. Passion leads to inspiring children, making a disinct difference in their lives. I completly agree that teaching students and learnign from them is important- constantly changing and improving leads to nothing but great things :)
